We will need people in the following areas:
Med Tent - supervising the kids who come into the tent for a break. 2-hr shifts starting at 9am - you'll have a first aid kit for boo-boos and misting fans for dehydration. This is perfect for those that work from home - bring your laptop and a lawn chair! You're in the shade all day and have access to all the ice and water you want.
Lunch Server - we need several brave souls to work the busy lunch line for our hungry marchers every day, then help clean up the aftermath (and eat the leftovers!). The shift is about an hour, starting at 11:45am.
Uniform Fitter - the more people fitting 115 marchers, the better and FASTER it will be. We will be fitting kids every day after lunch. Come measure and tuck for an hour, help try on shoes and squeeze them into bibbers! If you sew, we could use you! - every year we mend more than 20 uniforms and could use a helper (or two or three!).
General Helper - you'll be our right-hand man/gal all week! You'll get the fun duties of running equipment back inside in the blazing heat, loading drinks into ice coolers, mopping out the concession stand, killing spiders in the storage room while we organize, power washing the grills and fat fryers, chasing kids back outside, assembling equipment and props, and watching your kid do AMAZING things for the first time.

escorting the band with the directors
carrying the medical bag
assisting Color Guard
distributing and collecting plumes
Pit Crew
Home Games:
transporting pit equipment to the field and back to the band room after halftime
Away Games/ Competitions:
loading and unloading the equipment trailer
transporting the equipment on and off the field.
May also assist with colorguard equipment and props
50/50 Raffles
selling raffle tickets during home games
profit goes to senior scholarship
Fundraising
helping with sales and spreading the word
Be a Driver for Tag Day
Tag Day is the largest fundraiser for the band!
Volunteers are needed to help direct the students to their neighborhoods, hand out materials on Tag Day and to drive students on a Saturday in September to community neighborhoods.
